HYPERTECH gets in to the smart agriculture domain

HYPERTECH has been awarded a contract for the development of EMPORIA, a next generation electronic marketplace-platform offering farmers in the Southeast Europe region, the ability to effectively identify, target and directly sell their goods to groups of end-consumers that have been traditionally served by middlemen in the value-chain. EMPORIA, through its powerful retail data sourcing, analysis and visualization functionality allows the farmer to apply intelligent product pricing and delivery strategies, based on state of the art machine learning algorithms & tools, with the aim of maximizing revenues and profits, minimizing logistics costs and build a trustfull direct relationship with the consumer. The system enables direct interaction between farmer and end-consumer and allows the farmer to apply effective customer relation management strategies through the provision of targeted offers to specific customers recommended by the system based on extensive consumer behavior profiling. The project is part of HYPERTECH's initiative to enter the field of smart agriculture and agrifood business.
